Max To Moon is an ongoing project. As you know I have now returned from the moon, so the mission blog has been fairly slow of late.

Thanks to everyone that’s come so far! It’s been a blast!
There is something about the particular shades of the pencils used in 1970s future space illustrations that gets me every time!
Having spent a couple of days on the moon, and following conducting a thorough survey of the area immediately adjacent to my craft, i felt confident enough to begin exploring my broader surroundings. I fastened my moon socks firmly to my shaking feet, grabbed the Rollei, and stepped out into a world so distant that to call it foreign would be a pale analogy.
I walked for hours, hopping from distant target to distant target, the exercise was a welcome relief from the all too familiar confinement of my craft. The moon is barren at the best of times but due to it’s suitability for landing, the place of my touchdown was especially so.
It is impossible to communicate the delight i felt as the scene you see pictured here slowly formed before my eyes. The stark, rugged, reality of the moon held captive beneath the sublime infinity of space.
The tenuous grip inflicted on this adventurer by the Moon’s gravity was enough to let me feel for a moment that I may fly forever. Forwards into the boundless embrace of whatever it is that composes all from which we spring.

The stars burn bright. Life just isn’t the same after you’ve been to the moon. I’ve made it onto the cover of time magazine! SUPER AWESOME!
My apologies for the slow posts of late. I have been very busy preparing the Max To Moon Museum Exhibit, which will be opening on the 22nd of November. More details to come.

There have been a few enquiries about the exact functionality of my space suit. Beneath its flashy haute couture exterior it is a complicated organism that functions like a little factory. Each component is like a worker, doing its best to support the Max To Moon mission. If this analogy does not prove sufficiently rudimentary, I have prepared a simple diagram of the basic components of the suit. Click to Enlarge.
